The Bombers picked up a win in their home opener 11 to 0 against the visiting North Judson Bluejays Tuesday night. Tyson Cotner earned the win for the Bombers. He threw 4 innings of scoreless baseball allowing 1 hit while striking out 5 and walking 2. Offensively the Bombers were led by Dawson Cain who was 2 for 2 at the plate with 3 runs batted in. Ryan Kellner went 1 for 2 at the plate and drove in 1 run. Defensively the Bombers were solid as they did not commit any errors behind the solid pitching performance by Cotner. The Bombers return to action tonight as they will travel to Benton Central to take on the Bison in their conference opener. The game is slated to start at 4:30pmCST.
