Lions Middle School traveled yesterday to face a dominant Highland Hills team and Eastern. The Lions picked up a 53–44 win over Eastern, wrestling much better than they did when the teams met at County. Against Highland Hills they were outmatched and appeared intimidated early, which showed on the mat — the Lions fell 17–89 — but when our more experienced wrestlers stepped on the mat they were able to either keep pace with or defeat their opponents.
