The Lions Football team battled back from a 31-14 deficit in the final quarter to push the game into overtime in dramatic style. Down 31-21 with time running out the senior Evan Bowling blocked a punt attempt and ran the ball back for a touchdown. A Jonny Tally extra point kick made the score 31-28. A great onside kick by Tally and recovery by Salem gave the Lions a final chance with less than 2 minutes to play. The Lions were able to advance the ball to the 36 yard line where Jonny Tally stepped up and kicked a 43 yard FG to send the game into overtime. In the overtime period the Warriors took first possession and scored in their 4 downs. The Lions fell short in their 4 possessions for the final score of 38-31.
