The Lions boys basketball team notched their first victory of the season Tuesday night when they defeated the New Washington Mustangs 55-43. The Lions were lead in scoring by senior Jaden Cheatwood with 20 points and sophomore Braxton Dean with 14 points. The victory marked the first career win for first year head coach and Salem Alum Jaelen Nice. The Lions will play again tomorrow night when they take on Eastern in the first game of the First Harrison Holiday Tournament. Tip-off is set at 6:00 @ Borden.
