The Jim Ralston Field was officially dedicated last Friday, August 9, 2024. Coach Ralston was in attendance, with his family seated next to him and a couple hundred fans and friends in the bleachers. Athletic Director Hank Weedin spoke about the new field and his time as an assistant coach under Coach Ralston. Jamie Richardson (class of '91) spoke next giving a perspective from a former player. The star of the night, Coach Ralston, then took to the podium and talked about his time as the coach of the Lions, sharing multiple stories of games, players and funny rituals. Superintendent Jill Mires finished the night and invited the crowd to walk the field and take pictures with Coach Ralston. A large number of football alumni ranging from Coach's 1st year to his last year were on hand to partake in the festivities.
