TC BOYS WRESTLING BEATS BEECH GROVE IN SEASON OPENER. The Triton Central Tigers boys wrestling team opened up their season Wednesday night at home, in a dominating win over Beech Grove 57-24. The Tigers, wrestling in front of a charged home crowd, claimed eight contested bouts, added two victory-by-forfeit points, and benefited from a pair of forfeits, cruising to a commanding 33-point win in the team’s first competition of the 2025 campaign. On the mat, Triton Central set the tone early and pushed the pace throughout the night behind individual wins from Nufio, Blazier, Uhls, Phipps, Toon, Zimmerman, Ball, and Herman, each securing victories over Hornets opponents. The Tigers also picked up bonus team points when Bryant and Ross were awarded wins via forfeit. Triton Central (1-0) will be back in action Saturday morning at the New Palestine Invite starting at 9 AM.
