TC GIRLS BASKETBALL ROLLS PAST WALDRON. Triton Central delivered a dominant performance Friday night on its home floor, overwhelming Waldron 78–15 and improving to 5–2 on the season. Triton Central jumped ahead 22–8 by the end of the first quarter. The Tigers continued to build separation in the second period, holding Waldron to just five points in the frame and taking a 45–13 lead into halftime. Triton Central shut out the Mohawks in the third quarter, extending the margin to 67–13 entering the final period. With reserves contributing valuable minutes, the Tigers closed out the victory. Maryrose Felling fueled the offensive attack with a game-high 29 points. Kate Collier added 10 points, while Lexi Eubanks chipped in seven. Quinn King and Rylee Pruitt each scored six points, and Peyton Fillippinie followed with five. Layla Compton scored four points, while Cheyenne Allen, Madison Swisher, Hayden McMichael, and Kenzie Hoover each added two. Ryn West rounded out the scoring with three points. Triton Central now turns its attention to a key Hoosier Legends Conference matchup. The Tigers travel to Tri-West on Tuesday for a varsity-only contest scheduled to tip off at 7 PM.
