TC VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS WALDRON. The Triton Central volleyball program turned in a dominant performance Tuesday night, as both the varsity and junior varsity squads earned straight-set victories over Waldron. In varsity action, the Tigers controlled the match from start to finish, defeating Waldron 3-0 by scores of 25-18, 25-14, and 25-15. Audrey Darlage was strong from the service line, delivering four aces. Alaina Darlage anchored the defense with 11 digs, while Lucy May powered the attack with seven kills. The win improves Triton Central’s varsity record to 7-4 on the season. The JV team also showcased its depth and talent, sweeping Waldron 2-0 with set scores of 25-8 and 25-17. Adyson Wright had an outstanding night from the service line, tallying an incredible 19 aces. Anna Kemper added seven digs, Keely O’Gara distributed six assists, and Ryn West contributed two solo blocks to round out the team effort. The JV Tigers now sit at 4-2 overall. Triton Central looks to carry the momentum into its next matchup, as the Tigers return home Tuesday night to host Trinity Lutheran. The JV match is set to begin at 5:30 PM, followed by the varsity contest.
