TC GIRLS GOLF FINISHES THIRD AT HLC TOURNAMENT, HALL WIN INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP. The Triton Central girls golf team turned in a strong showing Tuesday at the Hoosier Legends Conference Tournament, held at Sarah Shank Golf Course in Indianapolis. The Tigers finished third overall with a team score of 429, trailing only champion Tri-West (398) and runner-up Indian Creek (411). Leading the way for Triton Central was Kennedy Hall, who captured the individual conference championship with a career-best round of 85. Hall fired an impressive 38 on the front nine—her lowest nine-hole score ever—before closing with a 47 on the back. Her performance also secured All-Conference honors. Lindsay Huxford joined Hall on the All-Conference team after carding a 102. Emersynn Ailes added a 116 for the Tigers, while Jaylee Davis rounded out the scoring with a 126. Monrovia (430), Speedway (447), and Beech Grove (477) completed the team standings. The Tigers return to action Wednesday when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a 4:30 PM match.
