TC BOYS TENNIS FALL TO EASTERN HANCOCK. The Triton Central boys tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Eastern Hancock on Monday night. The Royals claimed wins at all three singles spots to secure the victory. At No. 1 singles, Luke Zeilinga defeated Janssen Capps 6-1, 2-6, 6-1. Luke Fletcher followed with a tight win over Brayden Hoover at No. 2 singles, 7-5, 7-6 (3), while Josiah Swauger topped Bradyn Robinson at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-2. Triton Central found success in doubles play. The No. 1 duo of Max Crouse and Caleb McGuire earned a 6-4, 6-2 win, while Parker Robertson and Teddy Hannah battled to a three-set victory at No. 2 doubles, 6-2, 5-7, 6-2. In junior varsity action, Eastern Hancock edged the Tigers 4-3. Talan Canter (No. 1 singles) and Colton Ayres (No. 3 singles) earned singles wins for TC, while Owen Rice and Rylan Anderson added a doubles victory. With the loss, Triton Central’s varsity record moves to 6-4 on the season.
