TC VOLLEYBALL BEATS MORRISTOWN, JV FALLS. The Triton Central varsity volleyball team earned a straight-set win over Morristown on Monday night, posting a 3-0 victory. The Tigers won by scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-16 to improve their record to 9-5 on the season. Lucy May powered the offense with 13 kills, while Gwyn Williams delivered six aces from the service line. Alaina Darlage anchored the defense with 12 digs, and Audrey Darlage handed out 16 assists. Addy Gibbs added a solo block at the net. In junior varsity action, Morristown edged Triton Central 2-1 in a close match. The Tigers took the first set 25-22 but dropped the next two, 25-23 and 18-16. Adyson Wright led TC with six aces, while Madison Swisher had six kills. Anna Kemper posted 10 digs and 20 assists. The JV squad is now 6-3. Triton Central returns to action Wednesday at Greenwood. The JV match begins at 5:30 PM, with varsity scheduled for 7 PM.
