The JHCC Team traveled to the Monroe Central Invite Thursday for a great evening of running. The Lady Indians Team consisting of Lyla Baldwin did really well. Lyla continues to become a stronger runner, demonstrated by her 9th place finish. While Lyla is the only Lady Indian runner, it has been rewarding to see the sportsmanship demonstrated by other teams to welcome her into their pre-race huddle, as well as the friendships. The Boys Team continues to improve with Reid Kerns having a great race, finishing 8th. Rowan Jones had a very consistent run, finishing 20th, followed by Luke Jones in 25th. Luke is the youngest runner on the team, in just his first year, is beginning to show what he is capable of achieving. Tristan Dohme is among the most consistent runners with a very good finish. The next meet is Saturday, September 6 at Harter Park.
