Wabash High School

The high school boys cross country team faced perennial small school power Wapahani and a myriad of other schools in Saturday's Wapahani Invitational. Even though Wapahani runners took 1st and 2nd place in the race, a strong pack effort secured the win for the Apaches as Kaden Vogel, Jonas Church, Isaiah Cordes, and Ezra Church came through in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place respectively. Jace Bullins and Bobby Shull were separated from the rest of the group by 1 runner finishing in 8th and 9th. Kasen Oswalt was just 3 places behind in 13th. Matthew Niles came in 19th, Chase Howard 24th, and Maverick Sommers 45th to round out the rest of the Apaches. There were a total of 66 runners in the race. Next up is the Manchester Invitational on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
