Wabash Tennis defeats Maconquah 5-0 in TRC Contest The Apache Netters cruised to a 5-0 win over TRC foe Maconquah on Tuesday 8/29. Playing in the friendly confines of Honeywell Courts, Wabash won at 1 singles, 2 singles, 1 doubles, and 2 doubles with straight set, 6-0 scores across the board. Maconoquah was forced to forfeit at 3 singles. Coach Mattern shared: "I am happy to see Maconquah has a team again this year. The road of a rebuild is tough, I was there 4 years ago. Maconoquah played with a junior and 5 freshman. There is a base of players for them to build upon and I am excited to see where they are in a couple years." Wabash now has a record of 4-5 and 2-0 in the conference. Wabash plays again Wednesday, competing against non-conference opponent Eastern.
