Wabash advanced to the Sectional championship with a 40-22 win over Pioneer at Cass on Friday. The Apaches led 14-4 at halftime as the Panthers slowed the tempo and held the ball for long stretches. Pioneer would cut the lead to 16-10 early in the 3rd but never would get closer as Wabash steadily pulled away. The Apaches, now 19-5, were led by Trevor Daughtry with 13.
