The running Lady Apaches left Friday night for the overnight stay to preform at the Brown County Eagle Classic Saturday morning. The Lady Apaches participated in the Girls Varsity race with over 30 teams on the line. The teams were separated in scoring into two classes, giving the Apaches plenty of competition to help them place within their division. As the Apaches took off, the narrowing of the straight away caused collision, making footing a challenge for the Apaches. As they advanced into the woods, the girls were able to break through and proceeded to run fast mile times. Going through the two mile, the girls worked to find each other towards the front of the packs. Rounding out the third mile into the finish, the running Lady Apaches crossed the line with some intense competition. Their efforts earned them a 5th place team finish.
