Middle School Boys Host Wabash Invite; Finish In 3rd Place

The Wabash Middle School boys cross country team hosted the 53rd annual Wabash Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning at the city park coming in 3rd out of 12 teams. Easton Cantrell led a strong contingent of Wabash runners coming in 14th. Right behind in 15th was Kalib Mabery, Landen Fisher in 17th, Maesyn Jones in 21st, and Barrett Jones in 26th. The time spread between the 1st and 5th runners was an impressive 33 seconds. Aiden Young crossed the line in 36th with Phoenix Brown in 39th. Bennett Fry set a new lifetime PR en route to a 55th place finish while Finn Fairchild hit a season PR finishing in 58th. The middle school team returns to action one more time next Saturday at the Running Rivers Conference Meet
