Wabash High School

The Lady Apaches survived a half court buzzer beater to top Manchester 61 - 55 in OT and win the Wabash County Tourney championship. Wabash held a 3 point lead with 3.5 seconds to play but a half court three would send the game to OT. The Lady Apaches, now 11-3 on the season, would grad control in OT and hang on for the 61-55 win. This was the third straight championship for the Lady Apaches. Brookelynn Buzzard lead Wabash with 25 points while Kait Honeycutt added 15. Buzzard, Honeycutt and Anna Daughtry were named to the All Tourney team and Honeycutt was the MVP. The Rogge Award (for mental attitude)was given to Buzzard.
