Both teams fell to Central Catholic tonight during the 7th grade match. However, Coach White was proud of the girls for trying to set the ball up rather than sending over lots of free balls. In the long run, this practice will be better for the players. For the A team, Reagan Miller really stepped up tonight. When the back row was struggling to pass, she stepped back from middle front to ensure good passes to the setter. She led the team with a whopping 13 digs and two kills. Kayleigh Withers led the team with three aces. Mackenzie Bennett saw her first minutes in an A team game tonight as she continues to develop as a passer. In the B team game, Daphne Goldberg shone bright with four digs and two kills. She was working hard on the court and with lots of enthusiasm. Juliana Martinez led the game with two aces.
