Boys XC earns top-5 finishes at Zionsville Invite

On 8/20, the boys competed well over 4,000 meters at the Zionsville Invitational. In addition to the unique distance, the races were split based on grades. Freshman-Sophomore race The underclassmen placed sixth of 15 teams. Sophomore Ryan Miloudi led the way with an impressive 8th place finish in 13:32. Freshman Zach Johnson earned a ribbon with a 28th place finish in 14:14. Sophomores Jack Chandler (52nd - 14:51) and Lincoln Miller (79th - 15:21) were the third and fourth Red Devils across the finish line. Improving by over three minutes from the same race last year, sophomore Daimon Onishi was the team's final scorer in 114th - 16:09. Other top 10 Freshman-Sophomore finishers Ryan Li (9) - 117th - 16:11 Tatsuya Greiner (10) - 160th - 17:13 Ezra Buzzard-Cooke (9) - 175th - 17:40 Marco Tindel (9) - 178th - 17:43 Graham Kappock (9) - 187th - 17:56 Junior-Senior race The upperclassmen placed fifth of 12 teams. Senior Elijah Stenberg (3rd - 12:52) and junior Albert Rajwa (9th - 13:27) both competed well to earn top-10 finishes. Seniors Charlie Haq (44th - 14:24), Jacob Wright (49th - 14:36) and Yian Koh (72nd - 14:57) ran tough to round out scorers. Other top 10 Junior-Senior finishers Quentin Miller (12) - 92nd - 15:29 Jacob Clampitt-Morales (11) - 96th - 15:33 Daniel Schomer (11) - 108th - 15:47 Will Sautter (12) - 111th - 15:54 Rahul Durai (11) - 147th - 17:27 Combining the results from both races, the boys placed fifth out of sixteen teams. The boys are back in action Tuesday, 8/23 at the Harrison 8-Way meet - hosted at the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater.
