West Lafayette topped Kokomo 42-31 in a defensive battle at Memorial Gymnasium. Sarah Werth had 15 points and four assists. Adrianne Tolen chipped in 10 points and Molly Andrew led with seven rebounds and two blocks. The JV battled a big Kokomo team hard but fell 38-23. Sarah Flesher pulled down nine rebounds and Emma Garringer led in scoring with 14 points and Kyra Swanson had five steals. Both teams are back in action Tuesday at McCutcheon for the IU Health Hoops Tournament.
