Red Devils defeat Twin Lakes Calvin Snyder led West Lafayette out of the gates with 8 of his game high 18 points in the first quarter. The Red Devils stretched a 28-16 halftime lead to a 59-25 final. Mert Yavuz was cooking in the mid-range game with 13 points. Behind the arc, Max Smosna nailed two threes and Nick Zenor hit one of his own. Chase Ostrom contributed with 8 points including a couple nice floaters in the lane. Snyder ended with a double double recording 11 rebounds while Jaece Vogt and Karam Abu Sarah each had 5. The A team carries a 11-3 record into post-season play with the WCJC Tournament beginning later this week. West Lafayette B Team completes a successful season, beating Twin Lakes Oliver Crowell provided the energy all night for the Red Devils, logging a double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. West Lafayette shut out the Indians in the first quarter and stretched the lead in the second behind 10 points by Alvin Ajayi. The final score was 36-14. Ira Dobson pulled in 8 rebounds and scored 6 points. Crowell locked down on defense as well with 5 steals while Christian Steffey and Aiden Hubbard each had 2. The B Team closes their year with a 10-1 record.
