West Lafayette Jr-Sr High School

The West Lafayette 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team got of to a quick start against Southwestern. Full court pressure defense allowed the Red Devils to force many turnovers and easy transition baskets. A large half time lead was chipped away by Southwestern in the second half. Max Smosna hit late free throws to close out the 46-43 victory. Chase Ostrom lead the way with 11 points including two three pointers. Mason Wright and Alan Salazar chipped in with 8 points each. In the B game, the Red Devils also came out on top with a final score of 29-12. Tough defense limited Southwestern to only 4 second half points. Mert Yavuz scored 6 and Aiden Hubbard had 5 to pace West Lafayette.
