West Lafayette girls basketball took down host Lafayette Jeff 60-34 in the IU Health Hoops Classic on Nov. 17. The Red Devils used a 20-4 second quarter to fuel their fifth victory in six games. Kennedy Martin led the way with 19 points, four rebounds, two assists and four steals. Adrianne Tolen and Sarah Werth both scored 11 points, while Annie Karlaftis pulled down 11 rebounds. Tolen also recorded eight rebounds, three assists and four steals. Eight Red Devils scored, including Bree Johnson and Emma Weite with four points apiece Ellie Wilcoxson with two. West Lafayette forced 30 Bronchos turnovers and came up with 17 steals. The JV team also defeated Jeff 31-16. Izzy Ascarelli scored 10 points and Kyra Swanson pulled down eight rebounds.
