Three Red Devils scored in double figures in a 61-44 victory over Benton Central in the IU Health Hoops Classic at McCutcheon on Nov. 19. Sarah Werth led the way with 23 points, while Kennedy Martin and Adrianne Tolen both scored 16. Werth also had four rebounds, two assists and two steals; Martin had eight rebounds and three assists; and Tolen had six rebounds and four steals. Annie Karlaftis and Vivian Huston pulled down nine and eight rebounds, respectively, while Dylan Kastens came up with four steals. West Lafayette led 14-12 after one quarter, 28-22 at halftime and 46-31 after three quarters. The Red Devils’ biggest advantage was 23 points at 60-37. West Lafayette outrebounded Benton Central 40-36 and forced the Bison into 21 turnovers.
