In its final game before Thanksgiving, West Lafayette girls basketball feasted at host Lebanon with a 51-35 victory on Nov. 22. The Red Devils improved to 7-1 with a wire-to-wire victory, leading by as many as 24 points. Adrianne Tolen made 6 of 9 field goals and 2 of 3 free throws for a game-high 14 points. She also had 14 rebounds, including nine at the offensive end, three steals and two assists. Sarah Werth scored 12 points, while Kennedy Martin had 11 points and three assists; Vivian Huston added eight points, three assists and two steals; and Annie Karlaftis pulled down eight rebounds. West Lafayette limited the Tigers to 25% shooting from the field and forced 27 turnovers. Lebanon won a hard-fought JV game 31-23. The Devils were led by Ellie Wilcoxson with seven points and seven rebounds. Izzy Ascarelli contributed three steals and three assists.
