Last night the Red Devils traveled to Wainwright to take on the Mustangs. Both the teams continue to rack up the wins, continuing an undefeated record. The A team game scores were 25-6 and 25-16. A highlight of the game was a back row attack from Meredith Andrew. Andrew served 13/13 last night, Tabitha Alexander served 10/11, and Bella Garringer served 7/7. Andrew and Garringer each had five aces. The team will continue to work on communication and teamwork as they prepare for the WCJC tournament in a couple of weekends. The B team game scores were 25-15 and 25-22. One of the highlights of the game was definitely Isla St. Hilaire's killer attacks at the net. St. Hilaire got a whopping six kills last night, as well as six aces. Nolla Furry got eight aces and served 13/13 last night. The coaches were pleased that the team finished strong during their nail-biting second set as the lead continued to sway back and forth between teams. Finally, this reporter has some breaking news. Coach White and Coach Fultz both agreed to die their hair/beard red if both teams can end the season with an undefeated record. Will the Red Devils be able to keep up this trend? Stay tuned.
