WL Girls Basketball Wins Big Over Park Tudor

West Lafayette girls basketball was running on all cylinders in an 84-30 victory over Park Tudor at Berberian Gymnasium on Nov. 29. The Red Devils shot 61.8% from the field, draining 34 of 55 shots, while limiting the Panthers to 23.7% shooting and forcing 22 turnovers. Kennedy Martin and Adrianne Tolen both scored 19 points, while Sarah Werth had 17 and Anne Karlaftis 15. Karlaftis was 6 of 6 from the field and Martin made 4 of 7 attempts from 3-point range. Tolen stuffed the stat sheet with six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Martin had four assists and four steals; Dylan Kastens contributed six points, six rebounds and three assists; and Vivian Huston added six points, five assists and three rebounds. West Lafayette led 28-4 after one quarter and outscored Park Tudor 30-4 in the third quarter. The 84 points marked the most by the Red Devils since a 92-24 win at Frontier on Jan. 10, 2015.
