In the most highly anticipated game of the year so far in a battle of unbeaten teams, West Side traveled to the South Side to face Wea Ridge losing 45-39. In a back-and-forth game throughout, Wea Ridge jumped to an early 5-0 lead, but the Red Devils surged back to lead 27-24 at the half. The game was tied at 35 to end the 3rd quarter. West Side struggle to score in the 4th quarter and Wea Ridge outscored them 10-4 in the final period. Wea Ridge used multiple defensive looks to keep the Red Devils off-balance and that resulted in a season high 18 turnovers. Henry Umulis scored 13 points, Cody Boyle added 10 and Kojo Steffey had 8 points and 10 rebounds. Wea Ridge shot 6-10 from 3pt range and shot 9-17 free throws for the game. In the second game, the Red Devils defeated Wea Ridge in overtime, 36-34. Everyone contributed in this hard-fought win with Joe Doty scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds, Archer Fry adding 10 points and 6 steals, and Elliot Omedo with 8 points.
