The A team turned a tight game at the half into a nine point victory with a final score of 36-27. The first half was highlighted by tough interior play by Michael Gulich with six rebounds and three points from the free throw line. Max Smosna got hot in the third quarter pouring in eight points while Karam Abu Sara crashed the boards with four rebounds in the frame. Mason Wright sealed the deal down the stretch with six points in the fourth. Smosna lead all scorers with 15 and Wright added 10. The A team now posts a 6-8 overall record on the season. In their final game of the season, the B team used another balanced attack to win 28-21. Seven different players scored for the Red Devils. Leading the way was Ellis Furry with seven and Mert Yavuz with six. Oliver Crowell hustled to four steals and Ira Dobson Jr. soared for six rebounds. Ehan Qazi chipped in a steal, assist and rebound. Matthew Casillas knocked down a three in the second quarter and finished with five points and three rebounds. Christian Steffey added four points and a steal while Aiden Hubbard was aggressive with five rebounds. The B team completes the year with a 9-2 overall record. Season stat leaders: Ellis Furry with 68 points, Ira Dobson Jr. with 48 rebounds, and Oliver Crowell with 30 steals. Season highlight: Buzzer beater by Karam Abu Sara against East Tipp on November 17.
