Roosevelt opened the game in a 2-3 zone, but Cody Boyle hit 3 first quarter 3s to lead the Red Devils early. Battling turnovers and multiple players with foul trouble in the first half, West Lafayette trailed 14-16 at halftime. West Lafayette opened the 3rd quarter with a basket by Ash Modessit followed by a steal and two free throws by Joey Bae. Kojo Steffey helped turn over the Indians and scored 6 points off of breakaway baskets also in the third quarter. The Red Devils took a 27-22 lead at the end of the third. In the fourth quarter, the Indians made two free throws with 2:34 left to cut the lead to 32-30.
