Western Boone’s Seventh Grade Boys Basketball Team Secures Two Wins Against Frankfort

In the “A Game,” Western Boone took an early lead with a fast-paced offense and intense full-court defensive pressure. Point guard Casey Richardson set the tempo, creating open shots for his teammates. Defensively, Corbin Eckert and Wyatt Redman were standout performers, making the HotDogs work hard for every point with their athleticism, blocking shots, and disrupting penetration. Bryson Potter continued his impressive shooting streak, hitting three more three-pointers and finishing with eleven points. The Stars emerged victorious with a 42-25 win. Scoring leaders included Redman with 14 points, Potter with 11, Richardson with 6, Stokes with 5, Dunk with 2, Worrell with 2, and Kinsler with 2. In a dominant “B Game” performance, The Stars secured a 38-6 victory. WeBo maintained a fast pace, capitalizing on transition opportunities. Cannon Dunk led the team with a game-high ten points and disrupted the opposing offense with his “chaos style” defense! Wyatt Delp contributed with an early three-pointer and two layups, assisted by Jase Young. Young and Evan Dexter effectively managed the point guard position, setting up the offense against various defenses. Scorers: Dunk 10, Delp 7, Dexter 5, Young 4, Pastore 4, Hanneman 3, Kinsler 3, Buchanan 2 The Stars will return to action on Thursday night at 5:30 against Cascade.
