Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 8th grade “A” team set the tone early and controlled the pace on the road, defeating North Montgomery 56–49. The Stars built a lead as large as 14 points and played a steady, complete four quarters to secure the win. Jackson Potter led all scorers with an impressive 25 points. Tate Fields added 14, continuing his strong offensive play. Ryder DeVol chipped in 6, while Lukas Harrison and Hayden Demaree each contributed 4. Jackson Linton rounded out the scoring with 2. In “B” team action, the Stars fell 37–17. Western Boone battled hard through the first half, keeping the game tight, but North Montgomery pulled away after the break. Crew Gallimore paced the Stars with 11 points. Andrew Castillo added 4, and Brannon Gadbury scored 2. The Stars are back in action on Thursday at home for a 7th and 8th grade doubleheader against Sheridan.
