The girls golf team came away with a huge win last night over the Mounties. In a battle with the top teams in the conference under tough course conditions, the Stars won 166 to 183. The Stars were only 3 strokes off the school record for a low team 9 hole score. Senior Stef Dickerson place second with a 37, Freshman Ally Lewis third with a 40, Freshman Jada Scott shot a personal best 44 and Junior Lyla Jackson rounded out team scoring with a 45. Other competing were Jaylee Dickerson with a personal best 48, Ally Sparks 52, Isabella Fettig 53, Amaya Westerfeld and Ila Stokes with 56s. Stars will be back in action on Tuesday at Crawfordsville Muni wo take on the Athenians and the Danville Warriors.
