Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 8th grade girls basketball team were back in action last night hosting the Triwest Bruins. The Stars started off hot matching the intensity of the Bruins and taking an early lead during the first quarter. The Bruins defense tightened up and slowed down the Stars the remainder of the game resulting in a final score of Triwest 41 vs Webo 21. The Stars showed progress in their rebounding, defense, and steals. Leading the stars was Ady Nicley with 15 points, Ella Oakley chipped in 5 points, and Kathryn Gott scored 1 point. The Stars are back in action next Monday night at Speedway.
