The WeBo jr high boys soccer team lost 0-6 to Lebanon Thursday evening. The Stars got their biggest chance to score off of a set piece when Deegan Henry hit the cross bar. The boys played so hard that even the opposing coach complimented them on their efforts. The WeBo defense of Thompson, Avila, Heine, and Thies was busy the whole game along with Nolan Caldwell who did a fantastic job coming in at a defensive spot. The boys play at North Putnam next Tuesday. Their next home game is on Sept 11. The girls fell to Lebanon last night. Defensive midfielder Anna Walker played an excellent game and also had a solid defensive save. At halftime, our goalkeeper had to sit out with an injury, so we had to sub and play short a player. The girls reminded each other to make the most out of it and a lot of laughs were shared between the team.
