Wednesday, August 30th The junior high boys tennis team started their season off strong with a 4-1 win over Southmont. Winning for the Stars was 1S Jacob Collins, 2S Noah Bush, 3S Rowan Eastwood, and 1D Dillon Marshall/Blaine Ballentine. It was a great day overall with five other players playing in their first-ever matches and gaining valuable experience. Thursday, August 31st The junior high boys tennis team lost a close match to North Montgomery Thursday 2-3. Winning for the Stars in dominant fashion was 2S Noah Bush followed by the 2D team of Crockett/Scott. Unfortunately, the Stars were unable to pull off the final win needed to secure the team victory. The Stars are now 1-1 early in the season and will face Lebanon next Wednesday at 5PM.
