Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone JH boys soccer team lost a thriller at North Putnam last evening 2-3. Deegan Henry and Benson DeVol both scored. Ben Twitty played good and had some key saves at the end to keep the score close. Ryan McCormick, Arnold Calhoun and Maison Lutz did a great job coming off the bench for the Stars. The girl’s JH soccer team lost 3-0 against North Putnam yesterday evening. With our keeper being injured, we subbed Caydence Paris in goal. She had 7 saves in the first half. At the end of the first half it was 2-0, North Putnam lead. In the second half, our offense continued to fight and stayed aggressive. However, the game ended early due to lightening. The Stars play at home next Monday. Girls start at 5pm and boys play at 6:30.
