Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The varsity girls tennis team came in third place at their tournament Saturday, defeating Speedway but losing to Benton Central and Lafayette Central Catholic. While it wasn't the outcome they were looking for as a team, standing out for the Stars was the 2D team of Baird/Hayden who went 3-0 on the day and earned medals, as well as 1S Adams who went 2-1. 2S Strong, 3S Whiteley, and 1D Maners/Anderson all went 1-2 on the day. The Stars will return to conference play Monday at Frankfort at 5PM.
