The Stars opened the first set with a 10-1 run and never looked back. With a different line-up, WeBo only trailed once by 3 points in the entire match. Sophomore Reagan Durbin led the team with 12 kills and 8 digs. Dunn added 5 kills and 8 digs also. Saige Terwiske and Kennedy Kiger each had 5 kills. Christner brought the heat with 3 major blocks and 3 kills. Chloe Gillan added 4 digs and Kendal Ramey had 5. The Stars served a total of 16 aces throughout the match making it nearly impossible for the Lady Cougars to get on a run. Western Boone will host a tournament on Saturday and will face Hamilton Heights, Heritage Christian, and Mount Vernon.
