Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars had a nice preview of the conference course at the Lady Mountie Invite on Saturday at the Crawfordsville Country Club. The varsity had a 5th place finish with a 413 and the JV a 11th place finish with a 442. The JV started off only 4 strokes behind the varsity at the turn and had a combined 11 different personal bests on the day. Lily Shirley led the way with a 103 PB. Ally Sparks put together a consistent round with a 107 PB. Amaya Westerfeld shot a 110 PB. Jacelyn Wilson a 122 and Isabella Fettig a 126 PB. The Varsity used their experience to deal with the tighter front side of the Country Club. Stefanie Dickerson shot a 95 for the low round for the Stars. Ila Stokes had a personal best 105 and Lyla Jackson a 106. Makenzie Amich shot a 107 and Lille Cripe a 116. Stars will return to action on Monday, August 22 against Southmont for a 4:30 shotgun start at Cool Lake.
