The Stars tennis team traveled to Pike on Wednesday to play the Red Devils. Although he got off to a slow start, 1 singles Gavin Hawkins persevered to take home the only victory for Western Boone as he won in 3 sets. The 1 doubles team of Garrett Prickett and Daniel Talbott also fought hard in a 3 set match but couldn’t prevail. Overall, WeBo lost the match 1-4 but will look to rebound Thursday when they go on the road to face the McCutcheon Mavericks.
