Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars came ready to dominate the field against the Tri-West Bruins in their third regular season game on August 25. Their mentality was focused and strong going into the game as Coach Steimel led them in a pre-game discussion that really got them thinking about technique and game movement. Although our ladies really stepped up and controlled much of the game, they fell 4-0 against the Bruins. Senior, Lili Jones, had nearly 15 saves in the goal and the team had a few really great shots in goal that barely missed the frame by senior KaLeigh Steimel and sophomore Kale Connor. With this loss, our Lady Stars still controlled much of the game and improved on connecting passes, communicating with one another, and moving the ball around the field. Come support the Stars Saturday, August 27 at 9:00am as they take on North Montgomery on our home field.
