The 7th grade Stars defeated the Sheridan Blackhawks by a score of 36-20 on Thursday night. Sheridan's press caused the Stars some problems, but, as the game went on, the team made strides and improved their press break. Defense was the "Star" of the show tonight and made all the difference as the score does not capture how close the game really was. The 8th grade Stars also hosted the Sheridan Blackhawks Thursday night. The Stars jumped out early and had the game well in hand after the first quarter. Went to sub rotation and sealed the win 49-11. Beau Sawyer 10, Levi Adkins 8, Sam Rausch 7, Carson Nicely 6, Carter Eckert 5, Dane Allen and Josiah Williamson 4, Maysn Hoskins 3 and Noah Cole 2. Stars travel to Clinton Prairie next week on Tuesday night.
