Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

On Friday night the Varsity Boys Basketball hosted Tri-West and came up short by a final score of 59-46. The Stars came out slow to start the game and found themselves down 22 at the half. The Stars were able to regroup and cut the lead to 9 on a couple of occasions but couldn't get any closer. Scoring for the Stars was Gavin Hawkins 12, Tristyn Faulk 10, Luke Adkins 8, Marcus Fortner (8 Rebounds) and Carter Hanna 5, Phillip Talbot 4, and Drew Gott with 2. The following Night the Stars hosted Taylor and lost 50-43. The Stars suffered from the same scoring drought as the previous night. After Trailing by as much as 14, the Stars were able to cut Taylors lead to 4 but the comeback wasn't in the cards. Scoring for the Stars was Gavin Hawkins 13, Marcus Fortner 12, Tristyn Faulk 9 (9 rebounds), Luke Adkins 3, Drew Gott, Phillip Talbott and Quinn Westerfeld 2 points.
