Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Lady Stars matched up against conference rival Lebanon on Friday, displaying a strong defensive effort but falling short of the win and finishing with a score of 35-49. The Stars came out fired up and ready to go, playing with intensity from the start of the game. In the first half, the Lady Stars had some good looks at the basket, but couldn't capitalize on those opportunities. As the second half progressed, the Stars continued to play great defense and battle on the boards, doing their best to make up the scoring deficit. In the end, turnovers, lack of offensive movement, and missed free throws kept the Stars from the victory. Ally Lewis led the Stars with 13 points, followed by Ila Stokes with 11. The Lady Stars are back in action next Friday as they take on Southmont. Come out and support the Stars!
