Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Stars defeated Park Tudor in an intense 4 sets Tuesday evening. The Lady Stars were unstoppable in set one with a score of 25-11. However, set two brought challenges that slowed Western Boone. The Lady Stars fell short in set two 20-25 but were able to battle back to capture the win for sets three and four 25-23 and 25-21. This victory was in result to a team effort and each player contributed their all for a successful win! Sophomore Raegan Durbin had 21 kills, 17 digs, and 2 aces. Senior Audrey Dunn followed with 12 kills and 5 digs, Kennedy Kiger had 9 kills, and Saige Terwiske 8 kills and one ace. Kendal Ramey also took 2 aces from the Panthers. Elena Gubera had 10 digs in the back row, and Janie Ransom ended with 6 digs and 55 assists. The Stars travel to South Montgomery High School on Saturday to face their first conference team of the season!
