Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

On Thursday night the Western Boone JV and C-Team hosted the Hot Dogs of Frankfort and came away with the sweep. The C-Team got the night started with a 48-41 win. Scoring for the Stars were Sam Hurliman with 17, Jaden Latham 10, Burke Cavins 8, Nate Thompson 6, Owen Oakley 3, and Alex Velazquez and Levi Jackson 2. The JV Stars continued the winning with a 46-35 win over the Hot Dogs. Scoring for the JV Stars was Luke LaGrange 14, Layton Yancey 9, Dylan Sheets 7, Owen Oakley 7, Burke Cavins 6 and Reese Young 3. The JV team is back in action Saturday night vs Hamilton Heights. The JV Girls Basketball team hosted Frankfort Thursday for a quick two quarter game. Webo's press was effective early to go up 8 to 3 in the first. The Stars struggled to finish at the basket in the second but managed to hold off the Hot Dogs for a win of 13 to 7. This brings the JV's season record to 7 and 5. They will return to action Saturday at noon for another two quarter game against North Putnam.
