Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone boys tennis team traveled to Lebanon Thursday to take on Tigers. The Stars looked to improve their conference record to 2-1 on the year, however, the Tigers had other ideas. Western Boone got on the board early with a win at 2D from Tyler Konz and Andrew Petro. Lebanon responded with a win at 1D in straight sets then followed it up with a win at 3S They eventually secured the match at 2S even though Brady Warmoth put up a solid fight in his second set of the match. Gavin Hawkins won his first set at 1S before eventually falling to John Gascho in three sets. The Stars will look to bounce back Tuesday when they traveled to the Danville Warriors.
