7th Grade Stars traveled to Lizton last night and came up short falling to the Bruins 6-24. The Offense line of Brayden Henson, Aiden Farrell, Wyatt Smith, Sam Rausch, and Maddox Amich drove the Bruins off the ball giving Levi Adkins lanes to run all night. Amich did a phenomenal job punting and kicking the ball for the Stars giving the Stars the edge with the field position battle. The Stars will look to bounce back on Tuesday as they welcome the North Montgomery Chargers with a 5:30 kick off. The 8th grade Stars football team fell to the Tri West Bruins by a score of 44-0. Overwhelmed from the start, the Stars looked to focus on executing the basics and giving effort. Standing out in those areas were Brennen Bivens who ran the ball hard all night, Levi Hayden on both sides of the ball, Drew Williams who continues to demonstrate a high motor and Quinn Westerfeld running the offense and making plays with his limited opportunities. The Stars will look to rebound next week verses North Montgomery.
